Bobby W. Jones II is the son of Kentucky native, Bobby Jones from Pike County.

Bobby (senior), born in the coal mining city of Jenkins, was a 20 year US Marine, having fought in Korea and Vietnam, who married a Catholic Yankee from Rhode Island. Bobby (the son), the Marine Corps brat, was raised on military bases and had an eclectic upbringing, to say the least. Mom and Dad must have done something right because Bobby sorta turned out ok (eventually), having graduated valedictorian from high school and with high distinction from college.  He received his BA in theology from Ambassador College in 1984, a small bible college in Southern California. He came to his senses and settled “back home” to central Kentucky.  He has served as an elder and disciple-maker for the last 40 years. He owns a software development company, though his real passions are apologetics and dispelling misconceptions about God and His plans for man.  He lives in Richmond with his wife, Yolande, and has three adult children – and, so far, one awesome grandson.
